The eMusicBlast.com Demo Shopping Music Conference & A&R Showcase will be held May 15, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, PA.
The conference features an afternoon of music demo shopping with major label A&Rs, industry panels, on stage showcases in front of record label A&Rs, as well as one-on-one mentoring & producer listening sessions. The event allows participants to have 1 on 1 face time with 3 music executives of choice. The conference will conclude with showcase performances by a set number of conference attendees for the A&R & Producer panelists.
Since 2004, eMusicBlast.com has pushed the envelope on it's mission which is to give any musician access to any music executive of choice. So now, we are taking the online demo submission service and giving it off-line. All attendees will be able to sit with any 3 record label executives and pitch/shop their demos in person.
PRODUCERS, ARTISTS & SONGWRITERS MEET 1 ON 1 - FACE TO FACE WITH 3 DIFFERENT MAJOR LABEL A&R'S AND GET YOUR MUSIC EVALUATED IN PERSON
Each attendee will get the opportunity to meet one on one, face to face with (3) different major label A&R's for record deal/placement consideration and receive live feedback on the spot! A&R's from Universal, Warner Music, Island Def Jam, E-1 Music (formerly Koch), G-Unit, Asylum are confirmed to sit on the listening panel.
Demo Shopping Format
You will receive an 1 on 1 sit down meeting with 3 different Major label A&R executives of your choice based on availability. - The meeting will last for up to 8 minutes. The A&R executive will listen to a few of your songs or tracks - You will have access to insightful work shops based on management, digital marketing, legal matters and A&R. - You will have the opportunity to establish contacts and network with some of the music industry's top executives.
Absolutely NO WALK INS during the demo shopping and panel sessions.
Producer Beat Listening Sessions
Producers, have your beats played live in front of industry executives for placement consideration. This portion of the conference will allow producers to have beats played in the theater while an audience of industry execs listen and provide feedback. This is your opportunity to showcase your talent in front of executives that can help you reach your goals.
Industry Panel Format
Gain valuable knowledge from music executives during our panel sessions. All sessions include a Q&A section where your questions will be answered by the executives on the panel. Topics include, online music marketing, music management & entertainment law.
Showcase Format
Artists/Groups that choose to showcase at the event will perform 1 song live for all music executives present at the event. Each performer will be given a feedback score sheet from each executive in the audience. All performances will begin promptly after the demo shopping & panel sessions are finished. Artists/Groups requesting to use instruments during the performance must coordinate with eMusicBlast.com staff prior to May 10, 2010 here: conference@emusicblast.com.
